Neuroacoustic Sound Practitioners
and Therapists 

Mission Statement
Dedicated to the healing of the Global Body of the Universe through the healing of individuals of which it is composed, the Center for Neuroacoustic Research (CNR), explores the matrix and boundaries of the physical, emotional, mental and spiritual bodies through clinical and scientific research, shares findings through publications and by educating and training future Neuroacoustic Sound Practitioners and Neuroacoustic Sound Therapists.  It assists individuals to achieve their Personal Best. 

Any Practitioner listed in this section of the website is an active member of the International Registry of Neuroacoustic Sound Practitioners and Therapists in good standing with the Center for Neuroacoustic Research.  Each has fulfilled the specified requirements of the Registry and has made a commitment to the CNR protocol of Neuroacoustic Stress-Reduction and, if a therapist, to Neuroacoustic Bio-Tuning®/ Sonic Induction TherapyTM  as well.

 

======= Levels of Practice ========
 

Neuroacoustic Sound Therapist  DiplomateTM
The Neuroacoustic Sound Therapist Diplomate level is the highest level of expertise available.  Setting the standards of expertise, Dr. Jeffrey D. Thompson, D.C., B.F.A., C.N.S.T. Diplomate, Founder / Director of the Center for Neuroacoustic Research, has researched and developed techniques and modalities within the field of Scientific Sound.  He actively conducts a clinical, educational, and research facility in Encinitas, California.  Other therapists on this level have taken advanced courses in the field of Neuroacoustic Sound, are certified to teach the CNR Basic Seminar for Bio-Tuning®/Sonic Induction Therapy™, and are actively affiliated with CNR in Neuroacoustic Research.

Certified Neuroacoustic Sound TherapistTM
A Certified Neuroacoustic Sound Therapist has successfully completed a minimum of 120 hours of educational and training requirements in the theory and practice of Neuroacoustic Therapy and Behavioral Psychoacoustic Therapy and has successfully passed the qualifying examination associated with advanced work.  This person may or may not be actively involved with CNR in Neuroacoustic Research, but is actively affiliated with CNR.

Neuroacoustic Sound TherapistTM
A Neuroacoustic Sound Therapist is one who has fulfilled a minimum of 88 hours of educational and training requirements in the theory and practice of Bio-Tuning® /Sonic Induction Therapy™ and Behavioral Psychoacoustic Therapy™, including an internship, and has successfully passed a proficiency examination, and is actively affiliated with CNR.             

Neuroacoustic Sound PractitionerTM
A Neuroacoustic Sound Practitioner is an individual who understands stress and who offers the use of one or more CNR Neuroacoustic Sound Systems to assist individuals to decrease stress and the effects thereof, and thus increase coping skills of individuals.  This person has completed a minimum of 12 hours of education and training with CNR, and is actively affiliated with CNR. 

Each practitioner and therapist maintains and is solely responsible for data in his/her file.
